FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Salisbury University women's tennis team fell to the Mary Washington Eagles, 9-0, in a Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) contest on Saturday to wrap up the regular season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The tandems of Veronica Cuellar and Katherine Tamesis at No. 1 along with Elizabeth Christine and Sarah Cooper at No. 3 each collected a point in the doubles action.
- Cuellar battled in No. 1 singles against Claire Coleman but dropped a close match, 6-4, 6-4.
- Sarah Dover picked up three points in No. 3 singles against Lauren Quinn.
UP NEXT
- Salisbury will compete in the three-day C2C Championships, which begins on Thursday, May 6 in Fredericksburg, Va.
