FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Salisbury University men's tennis team fought hard against the Mary Washington Eagles but stumbled on the road, 5-4. In Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) action on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stefan Hein and Patrick MacLean earned an 8-6 win in No. 3 doubles over Artis Hart and Priyan Desilva.
- Ian Siew recorded a three-set win, 6-2, 2-6, 6-1, over Rishi Charan Shankar in No. 2 singles.
- MacLean cruised to a 6-1. 6-2 victory over Cole Tecce in No. 3 singles.
- Russell Willenborg notched a 6-1, 7-5 win over Desilva in No. 6 singles.
- Alec Angradi battled in No. 1 singles against Moses Hutchinson and went to a tiebreaker in each of the sets but fell in the match, 7-6 (9), 7-6 (8).
