
SALISBURY, Md.- The top-ranked Salisbury University men's lacrosse team released its 2021 schedule on Friday, February 19. Salisbury is scheduled to play 13 games in 2021 with four games against teams that are ranked in the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Preseason Top 25.
No announcement has been made about spectators for the spring season.
Salisbury will open the 2021 season with back-to-back away games starting on Saturday, March 6 against No. 12 Lynchburg followed by its Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) opener on Saturday, March 13 against Southern Virginia.
The maroon and gold open their home schedule with a five-game stretch to finish March and begin April. SU's Sea Gull Stadium opener is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16 against Mary Washington. The homestand continues with the much-awaited 2019 NCAA semifinal rematch against fourth-ranked Cabrini on Friday, March 19. Colorado College comes east to battle SU on Sunday, March 21 before the five-game homestand concludes with C2C clashes with No. 13 CNU (April 3) and St. Mary's (April 7).
The rest of April features three consecutive away games highlighted by the annual "War on the Shore" against Washington College on Saturday, April 10 in Chestertown, Md. The rest of the away trip wraps up the C2C season series on Wednesday, April 14 and Saturday, April 17 against Christopher Newport and St. Mary's.
The following week, the Sea Gulls are back at home on Wednesday, April 21 to face off with McDaniel followed by the final away game of the regular season against Mary Washington on Saturday, April 24. The regular season will conclude with a home contest against Southern Virginia on Saturday, May 1.
The C2C Tournament begins on Monday, May 3 with the top seed hosting the playoffs while the NCAA Tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 12.The NCAA Championship is slated for Sunday, May 30 in Hartford, Conn.
All home lacrosse games will be streamed live on the Sea Gull Sports Network (SGSN) and on the Team1Sports App, which can be accessed on Apple TV, Android TV, Roku and Fire TV.
